This is such an interesting and important study! I noticed that you described your focus on American women as a limitation. I also conducted a survey looking at prejudice and discrimination during the Covid-19 pandemic and I limited my sample to US college students because I felt that, given the George Floyd tragedy, Asian Americans facing stigma due to the label of Covid-19 as the ‘China Virus’ and tensions between generational cohorts etc., American college students should be my focus. I suppose my question/comment is, could this actually be a strength of your study? 2,995 is an amazing sample size!
On a more personal note, I am a 2008 graduate of the Social/Health PhD program at Stony Brook (I worked with Anne Moyer) and I’m also a admirer of Marci Lobel and her work! Go Seawolves 🙂
Thank you for you comment. It’s wonderful to hear from another Seawolf! I am very interested in learning more about your study. If you are open to sharing or discussing more with me, let’s connect through e-mail! My e-mail is emily.rehbein@stonybrook.edu.
