This is such a timely study. Was consideration given to studying alternative substance use with this population? Do you have any predictions about your findings if other substances had been studied?
Thank you for your comment. We did assess alternate substance use (e.g., cannabis, cocaine, prescription stimulants, etc.), however, reported use was rather low. This may be due to college-aged participants having to live at home with parents during the pandemic. Moreover, access to substances may also be restricted due to covid-induced policies such as stay-at-home orders.

I really learned a lot from the study but was confused from the demographics. The races don’t add up to 100%? Could you please clarify that?
