Thank you so much! great question, I think generally speaking I would expect similar results, however I would assume that the type of parenting practices related to child self-efficacy would be more associated with parent involvement related to more emotional coping strategies, and this would maybe be a greater mediator for school success with children. Rather with young adults parent involvement seems to have a more direct relation to school based coping strategies.
Also I saw your presentation earlier today on the consequences of COVID-19 on college student success, was such a great presentation! I work with youth currently and the affects of the pandemic on these youth have just been enormous.
