The HyFlex model is very interesting – so were students able to choose their preference for each class? Students online said they wanted more interaction with their classmates – were there off-line ways this was done, such as with a discussion board feature (or something similar)?
When it came to student preference for each class, this was determined by the professor. Some students could choose to be remote at their choosing. However, the volume of students in the classroom was mandated based on social distancing requirements. Most courses were held synchronously and some instructors did use breakout room features in Google Meet once the feature became available.

Hi,
Thank you for your question.

Thanks
